Hello, my name is Mary.  I live in the Kirkcaldy area with my husband and 2 children.  We have a 3-year-old black Labrador called Molly who is extremely friendly and loves to socialise with other dogs.  We also have a cat, Buster, who is a sprightly 15 years old.

After almost 20 years in Banking I decided it was time to do something I enjoyed and Walkies was born.

I am currently studying towards an SVQ2 in Animal Care and have owned and cared for animals all my life.

Walkies is police checked and is fully insured in respect of Public and Third Party Liability and we are proud to be a member of the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP), so you can be assured that your pet is in good hands.

At Walkies we believe that all animals differ and naturally their needs and behaviours in different situations vary as well.  It is important to us that we provide you with the best possible service and we take every precaution to ensure that your pets are suitable candidates for the services we provide.  We also appreciate that entrusting us with the care of your pets is an important and difficult decision for you to make.  And so we offer a free initial consultation where we will meet with you and your pets. During this consultation we can discuss any specific requirements or special needs that you or your pets may have, take detailed notes about your pets habits, food regime, exercise routine and medical history.  We will also ask for your veterinarian details and contact information including emergency contact details.

Please note that we will require your dogs to be fully vaccinated and we will ask to see a valid certificate.  Dogs boarding with us also require to be on a flea control programme.

We regret we are unable to take bitches who are in season into our home or on group walks.
